“ Last Christmas I got my dad a gift experience to go for a Gin Tasting at Graveney Gin in Tooting Market, we decided to use the voucher on Saturday and what an amazing experience we had! We have been on a few other gin tasting experiences so thought we roughly knew what to expect. We arrived at the location of the bar in the middle of the historical Tooting Market which is a pretty interesting and fun place to visit! We approached the small but welcoming bar where a bar tender was opening up. We introduced ourselves and said we were here for the Gin Tasting experience a little dubious as we were the only people there. The bar tender named Luis greeted us with a beaming and warm smile and welcomed us to the bar and sat us down and explained how the tasting was going to go. We instantly struck up a good rapport with Luis who was chatty and friendly and made us feel very comfortable and excited for the upcoming drinks. Luis brought us over our first gin which was paired with a tonic and garnish he told us a bit of history about the distillery and owner and then explained the gin to us as we first tried it neat and then with the paired tonic. Luis left us to enjoy our first drink and soak up the ambience of the bar and market. It was a very chilled and relaxing experience with Luis checking up on us on regular intervals and exchanging some conversations and banter which we both enjoyed. Luis then brought over our next gin and explained it and then allowed us to enjoy while he served other customers still making sure he checked on us and the progress of our gin. Then when it was time for the third gin, the same chilled and relaxed process which we really enjoyed and found a more unique experience, all three gins were amazing and tasted delicious. We then got to try one of the gins in a cocktail Luis asked us what flavours we like and gave great recommendations, we settled on gin-garita as me and my dad love a margarita! The gin tasted great paired with the flavours of the margarita so yummy! This then sadly was the end of our experience we loved everything we had tasted and really enjoyed being looked after so well by Luis, so much so we decided to stay for some more drinks expertly made by Luis and his colleague and we sat in that bar enjoying the music and atmosphere for quite a few more drinks longer!! I highly recommend a gin tasting with Graveney Gin the products are out of this world, the setting and style of the tasting is quirky and refreshing and Luis' knowledge, skill and customer service is second to none.
